Hi, I’m Andreas. I make screencasts. This is my written version of Mac OS X Screencasts (MOSX).
MOSX is mainly about tutorials and reviews of OS X and iOS software in English and German. MOSX is also on Twitter. And I am, too.
My personal iPhone and iPad homescreens can be found here.
Does anyone have a service (Automator??) that removes the xattr quarantine flag from selected files and folders? I realize the danger….
Here’s how to put to sleep Mac OS X’s Quarantine…
Essentially run a defaults command to disable new files getting a quarantine flag, and then running xattr to remove the flag from files already on your system.
Seems to work for Snow Leopard and Lion. (Finally)
